When i say 'procrastinate' i really meant perfectionism, or something like that.
I don't write every day, but when I do write, I don't publish it. Because I dont't finish it. Or, feel as if I didn't finish it. Or, i really really want to squeeze in more details and that turns into a whole other thing.
Even on this bearblog, a second-degree squared "write shorter posts so you can ware off perfectionism" place for myself, has a significant number of its posts still in the drafts. It sucks because I like my drafts a lot more than the things I do publish. And then when I go back to months-old drafts I completely lose where I was going with them (kind of like coming back to old coding projects, your own code is alien to you, and you have to relearn what it does..) and end up starting a new post which will more or less end the same. Is there a word for this? Or am i uniquely retarded?
To put this in perspective, everything i've ever published on my neoclitty blog amounts to some 35,000 words. My obsidian vault is currently sitting at 120,000 words. Do the math yourself. I'm so bad at this game.
