Incidentally, Nydwracu's name, which is also pretty cool, is also Old English. It is a poetic word for suffering. His blog's full name, nydwracu niþgrim, nihtbealwa mæst, translates roughly to "grim dire distress, greatest of night evils."

In my notes on neoreaction, I flippantly mentioned someone named 'esr' and a blog post he made about the dark enlightenment. 'esr' is not some nophono or a pseudonym, it's the abbreviation of his full name Eric S. Raymond. Raymond was also briefly mentioned in my art on the Silicon Ideology. i feel really stupid, because I had literally listened to an audiobook of The Cathedral and the Bazaar the month before I posted the notes. Sorry about that boss.

If you don't know, Omarchy is a troonix distribution that has been gaining attention lately because its main author said a bad things on the internet, among other reasons. I usually wouldn't pay attention to this kind of discourse, since linux is tranny software only used by people that want to larp as epic l337 hackers or something, but something about this is especially irritating.. the site reeks of activism.
