I can see kyle drake's platform dying or transforming in a number of ways.
- Server space
Neocities will hold so much abandoned sites that Kyle can't pay to host it all. He will either shut it down or implement a policy where you must update your site at least once every two years before they delete it or something to that effect.
- IP police
'IP' owners and DMCA gangster police will strike kyle drake's platform down on count of hosting trillions of Intellectual Property and hecking piracies.
- twitterization (chaotic evil)
The normgroid bluesky and twitter immigrants will invade, and kyle drake will pivot to appeal to these peoples' tastes and unwittingly join socmed. Hundreds of patriots will go the way of Youtube and be shadowbanned.

the xitterGQDS will set up their imperial projects on neocities, perhaps as a result of some ban wave on tweeter. Neoclitties, a ridiculously simple platform with twitterish posting features, a minimal algorithm and almost no moderation (especially in regards to site content), would be 'aped by right-wing wordcel poasting.
This new wave of users, though undoubtedly chaotic, would spur an intellectual renaissance away from the monotonous 'capitalism bad' 'ai bad' 'socmed bad' 'trump bad' troon 88x31 button activism nonsense.
(On this note, there is a recognizable difference between the stereotypical right-winger, the chud, and the stereotypical left-winger, the NPC. The chud has something the NPC never will: a deep sense of consciousness.)

In 2032, it is Donald Trump's second term as supreme dictator, and as part of his curriculum against communism he BANS online left-wing antifa thugs and their stupid websites. Neocities is included in this list of sites.

Neocities is a vehicle of free information as it is not subject to the usual jewish rules of socmed. The jews would take issue with this, and nuke it from orbit.

Neoclitties will, with some extraordinarily harsh whipping, progress past its simple origins and mediocre 'indie web' culture and experience an anarcho-fascistic cultural and technological revolution. This future regime will give birth to xenocities, a decentralized conglomerate of open source neocities-like platforms which can communicate with each other using URBIT. (not everyone can self-host, OKAY?)
