LEET ANGEL GIRL

✠TAKE THE RED PILL²

hi user 9 ✙ 4

If you're new to the NRx monarchy shill then this post will be my personal guide to unwrapping neoreaction (with many useful links). Just be warned, I'm new too, but I've been reading up on it for the better part of a year and I think I know enough to help you.

✙ I

The neoreactionaries (abbreviated NRx) or more broadly 'the Dark Enlightenment' refers to a certain online milieu of intellectual right-wing 'reactionary' bloggers from around the late 2000s to the late 2010s. The core figureheads of the NRx were software developer and blogger Curtis Yarvin (pen name Mencius Moldbug) and English philosopher Nick Land, who laid the critical groundwork for neoreaction.

Neoreaction is, at its core, a reaction against the Enlightenment and liberal democracy, as well as a critique of progressivism.

There are only a couple options if you want to get into everything regarding this strange ideology.

You should start with Moldbug, obviously. But Moldberg and his UR posts are a pain to read, especially if you have very little clue of what you're getting into, and my layman's summary above won't help you with that. Moldberg has a certain way with words, I don't know if you can tell.

Well, somewhere in Germany in 1933, there might have been an Augustus or two. Or even three. But Germany in 1933 was a democracy. And that democracy elected not Augustus, not Frederick the Great, not even Kaiser Bill. It elected — Wait. Who did it elect? Gee. I've forgotten already. I hate these migraines. An Austrian, I think. A sergeant? A private first-class? Someone like that. A man of the people, that's for sure. History is so confusing.

I can personally tolerate Moldberg's essays, in fact I think they're a treat sometimes, but the kike really can't be trusted to convince an open minded progressive of literally anything. If you're a newfag, it is much better (i think) to listen to other reactionaries explain Moldberg's ideas for him.

You Tube is the best answer for everything. (we will use invidious redirect links here.)

The Distributist has a great hour-long introduction, reckoning inane 'progress,' or entropy, as the essential mode of Leftoid organization and production in soyciety:

A Gentle Introduction to Mencius Moldbug

The Yarvin for Normies Series by tc'ss is also very good:

Yarvin for Normies: Democracy, Oligarchy, and Monarchy

Yarvin for Normies: Two American Empires

Charlemagne has produced the unequivocal anthology of Moldberg's works with relevant commentary. 'Mulling Over Moldbug' is REQUIRED VIEWING!

He also has stuff covering Spandrell (a close third for the pioneers of Neoreaction), Carlyle (a 19th century philosopher who hugely influenced Moldberg), Italian Elite Theory (critical to the neoreactionary worldview!), and Nigg Land.

...an extra here

Auron Macintyre has a lot of stuff on Neoreaction, and I appreciate him for getting this theory out to the masses, but i never bothered with him because he sounds annoying, whereas Charlemagne has a cute voice.

Here's a useful playlist Auron made

Or go into reading if you are brave like that.

Moldberg's blog. I would recommend the open letter first, or the gentle introduction is fine too.

Nick Land's seminal essay, essentially an engagement with Moldberg's work.

UR has a short reading list here.

Neoreactionary Canon pdf on github. It's very long.

The Neoreactionary Canon on the defunct Hestia Society, which is a link directory to different posts across different blogs.

'The Best of Neoreaction' on the defunct neoreaction.net, which is more of the same.

This guy Parker Banks has really, really good ai audiobooks of Land and Moldberg's seminal works, so you can read but not really read. I like to put them on when I work on my site and whatever.

An finally, to individual blogs. This is the 'certain online milieu' which is called the NRx or Dark Enlightenment.

These are just a few of the more important writers, so here I've made an almost comprehensive list, including selections of works, under 'neo-reaction.'
